While nowadays it may be about beer, that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy a festive St. Paddy’s Day healthy shake, right? Think of it as a warm-up beverage, like stretching for the stomach.
While this shake may be a warm-up beverage for you, it’s the perfect breakfast for the kiddos too. It’s tasty, healthy and easy to make. Most importantly, it’s a pleasant shade of green.
St. Paddy’s Day Green Smoothie
- Total Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup spinach
- 1/4 of a small avocado
- 1 cup milk of choice (we like oat!)
- Optional: protein powder – we like Botanica Health’s Perfect Protein (No sugar/sweetener, plant based, and it’s fermented for easier digestion!)
Instructions
Blend well and serve!
