FOUR-INGREDIENT VEGAN BUTTER IN JUST MINUTES

Avocado oil and coconut oil are two of the most raved about oils on the market for their health benefits. They both contain healthy fats and have high smoke points which make them ideal for cooking. Avocado oil offers heart-healthy fats and nutrients like vitamin A, D, E, and potassium, while coconut oil can help boost good cholesterols and provide vitamin E, K, and iron.

There’s one more thing that these two healthy oils have in common: creaminess. Although avocado oil doesn’t solidify like coconut oil does, it is comparatively thicker than other oils. So what happens when you combine the two? You get an incredible spreadable vegan butter. Add a pinch of turmeric or even cinnamon for that uncanny resemblance of regular butter–and of course, flavour and nutrients. And the best part? You only need four ingredients.

How to Make 4-Ingredient Vegan Butter

1/3 cup avocado oil

1 tsp sea salt

Pinch of turmeric

How to prepare:

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl until smooth throughout. Transfer the mixture into a sealable container and allow it to set in the fridge. It will last in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two months.

Butter is a staple in many households, but we’re always looking for more plant-based options. Have you tried making vegan butter? Share with us your recipes!
