After years of preparing cocktails in some of the world’s best bars, OPUS founder, Christos Kalaitzis, saw a need for a premium alcohol-free beverage that wasn’t soda water or a sugar-loaded beverage. So he created OPUS!

Benefits of Sober January

Improved focus, energy, and sleep:

Alcohol use and poor sleep are closely linked. This is because alcohol interferes with the sleep-wake cycle, making it more difficult to fall and stay asleep.

Better mental health:

Alcohol reduces dopamine receptors in the brain and overloads the brain with dopamine when consumed.

Improved Gut Health:

Alcohol can have a significantly negative effect on the healthy bacteria in our gut microbiome

Improved Immunity:

Alcohol interferes with the immune system preventing it from producing enough white blood cells to fend off germs and bacteria

Lower risk of Cancer:

The more alcohol you consume, the greater your risk of developing certain types of cancer.
