Yorkshire pudding
Yorkshire puddings were a must while growing up. They are a common English side dish that is baked and can be served in many different ways but most commonly served as a side to a roast, soaked in gravy. Here is how you make them: You need 3 eggs, 1 cup milk, 1 cup all-purpose flour and 2 tablespoons butter.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and in a medium bowl, beat eggs with milk. Stir in flour. Set aside. Divide butter evenly into the twelve cups of a muffin tin, about 1/2 teaspoon per cup. Place the tin in the oven to melt butter, 2 to 5 minutes. Remove the tin from the oven, and distribute batter evenly among buttery cups. Bake in preheated oven 5 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees F, and bake 25 minutes more or until puffed and golden.
Mushroom Gravy
Nothing beats homemade gravy, and adding mushrooms adds a great depth of flavour. Perfect to go with the Yorkshire puddings, on the potatoes, vegetables and more!
Roasted Veg
Roasting vegetables adds a touch of crispiness and brings out some natural sweetness with nutty undertones.
