With news of the recent pork recall affecting both Pine Haven and Irvings Farms pork products, we would like to provide some clarity. First and foremost, our deepest condolences for all those impacted by this recall, including the affected consumers and the local farmers.
Second, Spud.ca does not sell Pine Haven branded pork products. We do offer Pine Haven beef, but it is processed in a separate, federally regulated facility and has absolutely no contact with pork at any time.
Regarding Irvings Farms, we have pulled all Irvings Farms pork products from our website. We are refunding anyone who has purchased affected Irvings Farms brand pork products during the period of February 21st and April 25th. These include:
- Maple Sausages 454g
- Rosemary Garlic Sausages 454g
- Pork Cumberland Sausage
- Tenderloin
- Ground Pork
- Side Ribs ~445g
- Back ribs ~700g
- Spicy Chorizo Sausages 454g
- English Breakfast Sausage 454g
- Sweet Fennel Sausages 454g
- Bratwurst Sausages 454g
We do not carry products from the other affected brand, K&K Foodliner.
