HOW YOU CAN HELP SUPPORT WOMEN WITH YOUR Spud ORDER

International Women’s Day is upon us! In the lead up to this day celebrating women we thought we would highlight a few ways you can make your Spud purchases make a difference in directly improving the lives of women across Greater Vancouver. What’s more, this will come at no extra cost!

We are proud to currently support four fantastic organizations who focus on uplifting women and girls in our communities. Through our Fundraising program you can support any one of them by either purchasing a fundraising box from spud.ca/fundraising or a fundraising gift card from spud.ca/spudcards. Just follow the directions listed at the top of either page and enjoy your Spud delivery while also contributing to the essential work these organizations do! We will donate 10-25% of every fundraising box or gift card you purchase on your behalf.

Spectrum Mothers Support Society

Spectrum Mothers Support Society is a non-profit agency in North Vancouver with the goal of supporting women who are caring for their young children in difficult and challenging situations. By providing access to trained Caregivers, mothers in a variety of difficult or challenging situations can receive the support they need to raise their child and enjoy motherhood.

Surrey Women’s Centre

The Surrey Women’s Centre is a crisis centre for women and girls escaping domestic violence, sexual assault and other forms of gender-based violence. They are the only women’s centre in Surrey and are a place for women to turn to anytime, year-round.

North Shore Women’s Centre

The North Shore Women’s Centre is a women’s drop-in resource centre dedicated to improving the social, economic, legal and political status of women. Their aim is to provide women with access to resources and assist them with life choices, actively address violence against women at all levels of the community, and to challenge sexism and discrimination in the community,

Soroptimist International of Vancouver

Since 1926, Soroptimist International of Vancouver has been committed to improving the lives of women and girls locally and internationally. The programs they provide help improve the lives of women and girls through social and economic empowerment.
