Pink Gin:
Owners of Calgary born, Confluence Distilling travelled to London a couple years ago and were astounded by the walls of pink coloured gin in the Heathrow airport duty-free. Literally an entire section dedicated to different types of pink gins! They quickly learned that it wasn’t just the UK that was crazing over this botanical spirit but much of Western Europe which ultimately led them to craft their own Confluence Pink Gin which has been flying off the shelves since their launch.
The colour inspired by prairie sunsets, and the flavour inspired by tropical climates, pink gins are characterised by their sweet aromas and pallets, separating them from their predecessor, traditional London dry style gins. Confluence pink gin gets it’s sweet-citrus punch from grapefruit, lemon grass and chamomile, and for complexity and balance they added the spiciness of ginger and Thai chilli. Its naturally sweet and has no added sugars and is distilled with 100% Albertan Grains!
