Save Your Peels And Make Candied Orange Peels

While there are lots of things you can do with orange peels like making your own eco-friendly cleaner, making candles that can burn for hours, stopping your brown sugar from clumping, the tastiest and most delicious way to make use of them is to make your own candied orange peel! It takes a day or two for the peels to dry so tap that save button, collect your peels and make your own candied orange peels

 Candied Orange Peels:

Ingredients:

oranges worth of peels

4 cups of sugar, divided

3 cups of water Cut the peels into strips.

Add the peels and bring back to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer until the peels are very soft, about 45 minutes. Drain. Toss peel and 1 cup of sugar on rimmed baking sheet or bowl, separating strips. Lift peel from sugar; transfer to a sheet of foil or parchment. Let stand until coating is dry, 1 to 2 days. Once dried you can eat right away or melt your favourite chocolate and dip them in! Enjoy!
