We have partnered with Spinnakers to bring you liquor with your orders! This year is the year we’re back to entertaining outside our bubble and we’re moving along gleefully, with caution! We’ve put together our suggestions for Victoria’s Best Holiday Liquor this year and have included some cider, beer, spirits, and our favourite wines. Happy holidays and stay safe.

Sea Cider Rumrunner $19.99 

This Vancouver-Island cider is Crafted with heritage apples and aged in rum-soaked bourbon barrels. Aromas of brown sugar and rum show the complexity of this semi-dry sparkling cider. Delicious cold or mulled and heated with butter. Rumrunner pairs well with steak, Caribbean, and Moroccan food. 

Straight and Narrow Grapefruit Rosemary Gin Cocktail $17.92 

What could be simpler than a cocktail in a can? Aromatic, fresh, and made with a custom handcrafted gin distilled with rosemary sourced from Ravenhill Herb Farm on Vancouver Island. There is also a Pear Rhubarb Peach Elderflower and Lemon Lavender version or a pack of all three. 

Russell Brewing Craft Crusher Mixed Pack $28.25 

Three of each of Russell’s favs: Pale Ale, Craft Lager, El Dorado Blonde and West Coast IPA. Something for everyone at the party. 

Hoyne Four Fine Friends Mixer $30.31 

Victoria’s own Hoyne Brewing has curated a wonderful 12 pack Mixer, containing three of each of their favourite beers – Hoyne’s Pilsner, Golden Lager Down Easy Pale, and Dark Matter.

Blue Grouse Quill White $24.99 

A food-friendly Vancouver Island blend of Schönburger, Pinot Gris and Gewürztraminer, this lovely wine exhibits notes of orange blossom, peach, and lemon zest. Great with turkey and all the trimmings. 

Blue Grouse Quill Red $28.79. 

This robust red wine blend is a combination of Marechal Foch, Cabernet and Merlot and has aromas of caramel, black cherry, and licorice with rich cocoa and cloves on the finish. Lovely with a holiday ham.

Organic Haywire Gamay Noir $31.29 

Ripe raspberry aromas and flavours with a dusting of chocolate leads to a complex wine with a lush texture. Bright acidity is framed by gentle tannins. 

Narrative Rose $23.79 

A combination of Pinot Noir grapes harvested in Summerland and Oliver; this wine is salmon pink due to the 12 hours of skin contact. It’s then lightly pressed and naturally fermented in concert tanks. The wine has bright berry fruity aromas with some floral notes, and berry and savoury herbal notes on the palate, a dry wine with good acidity and a lengthy finish. 

Spinnakers – Chocoholic Liqueur $27.16 

Our grain spirit passed through an extractor packed with cacao husks before being blended with organic cane sugar creating a silky liqueur with a dark chocolate aroma. 

Sheringham Distillery – Seaside Gin $52.71 

Citrus, floral and notes of the sea make this Gin as refreshing as a seaside stroll. Elegant for sipping and noble in your favourite cocktail – clean as the South Island surf. Made from B.C. white wheat, BC malted barley, natural botanicals, and sustainable hand-harvested local winged kelp.
