Reclaim Urban Farm is a multi-locational urban micro-farm with approximately fifteen plots located in the heart of Edmonton, Alberta. Reclaimed back and front yards, empty lots, and gardens in the neighbourhoods of Garneau, Old Strathcona, King Edward Park, Pleasantview, and Bonnie Doon, are repurposed to grow food. In exchange for land, Reclaim offers a weekly box of fresh produce to the landowner. They can choose to have the box delivered to their home by bike, or donated it to a local charity on their behalf. Reclaim Urban Farm uses low impact and organic practices to grow seasonal greens (salad mixes, spinach, arugula, chard, mustards etc.) and a variety of specialty root veggies, herbs and squashes.
