Kevin developed an appreciation for locally sourced, organic food while working at a neighborhood sandwich shop. Before he turned professional food person, he studied philosophy, engineering, and economics at the University of Washington, where he made two free-agent guest appearances on an intramural champion softball team. When he is not delivering groceries to the discerning consumer, he spends his time cleaning up after his dog, Elvis, and building his community through leisure sports.
