Have kids with expensive hobbies? Involved in a community group that’s strapped for cash? SPUD.ca is now building fundraising partnerships with schools and other non-profits in the Lower Mainland. Sports teams, musical groups, local NGOs, preschools, clubs– we wanna help you out!
SPUD is always looking for new ways to get involved in our community, so we want to offer you the opportunity to raise money for the school or group of your choice by buying organic produce. Here’s how it works:
1. Anyone who wants to support your group signs up as a SPUD customer.
2. They order any produce box listed on the SPUD Fundraising page, spud.ca/fundraising (click to it under the Home tab on SPUD.ca).
3. They enter a promo code at checkout to join your fundraising team.
4. They complete their order and it is delivered to their home or office.
5. You get a portion of their produce box purchase!
All the produce in the fundraiser is certified organic, and you can choose from a selection of 7 greatest-hits boxes including Fruit Through the Week, All Greens, and Best of BC. The produce boxes range from $20-60. You can order just once or as often as you like, and every time you do you will contribute 25% to the fundraiser! You can run the fundraiser for as long as you want, and we’ll send you a cheque every month.
Sign-up is quick and easy, and then all you have to do is promote the program. We literally do the heavy lifting. We make it even easier by sending you handouts, posters, and resources to promote the program online. You can even promote SPUD Fundraising at an existing fundraising event.
The program is new, and we’re always looking for feedback to improve. So far, our test groups have raised hundreds of dollars buying and selling produce. We all buy fruit & veggies every week, and this way it supports something you care about!
SPUD Fundraising is healthy. It’s sustainable. It’s easy to run. And we give you money back!
