Juicers typically take no more than 5 minutes to clean.Be sure to scrub the screen (the part where the juice is separated from the pulp) with a brush or cloth prior to putting that piece in the dishwasher, to ensure that the screen doesn’t accumulate fiber over time and clog. |How long does a glass of fresh juice last in the fridge? A glass of fresh juice will keep for up to 24 hours if it is refrigerated in an airtight container. Even so, it is best consumed fresh! If you do need to store your juice, we recommend doing so in an airtight container so you can avoid the effects of oxidation.|
|How can I cut down on the time it takes to juice every week? Juicing doesn’t have to be time consuming! Wash, prep and chop each day’s servings and bag them individually so your morning routine can be as simple as tossing it all in your juicer.|
|What is the difference between a juice and a smoothie? The main difference between a juice and a smoothie is that a juicer removes the fiber from your produce through the process of squeezing the pulp. As a result, a glass of juice requires hardly any digestion and the nutrients pass directly into the bloodstream. After drinking a glass of juice, your body will almost instantly receive sufficient fuel to feed your cells and boost your immune system. While fiber has it’s benefits, fresh juice allows you to pack in a greater quantity of nutritious fruits and vegetables since it is far less filling.|
|What are the most beneficial fruits and vegetables to juice? While all fruits and vegetables have great health benefits, produce items that are rich in color are particularly nutritious. Kale, carrots, beets and grapefruits are just a few examples of vibrant fruits and vegetables that are bursting with antioxidants and cancer-fighting agents, making them a great addition to any juice.|
