Spud HELPS CEREBRAL PALSY ASSOCIATION WITH SUCCESSFUL CLOTHING DRIVE

Written by: Ashley Moliere, Cerebral Palsy Association of British Columbia

Over 9,000 pounds of clothing was collected with the help of Spud for the Cerebral Palsy Association of British Columbia. We worked together as part of the Spring Bin Drive from May 14th-30th, 2018.

Just 3 days worth of donations!

We would like to thank Spud for choosing us to be their Vancouver charity this Spring’s bin drive and to all of the Spud customers that donated their clothing. This great initiative not only helps those in need, but also the environment by encouraging recycling and sustainability. With your generous clothing donations, we will be able to fund programs such as adapted yoga, pre-employment training and various scholarships.

The Cerebral Palsy Association of BC strives to create a Life Without Limits for people with cerebral palsy and other disabilities. Our mission is to work to see those living with cerebral palsy realize their place as equals in a diverse society. If you would like to continue to support the Cerebral Palsy Association of BC by donating clothing, go to our website: https://www.bccerebralpalsy.com/support-us/clothing-recycling/ . Here, you will find locations where we have donation bins around the Lower Mainland.
